Shop till you drop on Waikiki’s main drag

The Hawaiian islands are a very popular choice for those wanting to experience the weather, traditions, food and culture of Hawaii.  These islands are just over thirty-eight-hundred miles from Tokyo and a little over twenty-three-hundred from San Francisco and Oahu is the top choice of tourists.  This island is the most populated and the island you want to spend some time on if shopping is your thing and so Waikiki will be your destination.

The main street in Waikiki is called Kalakaua and here is where you can shop till you drop.  This street is lined with countless hotels, shops and restaurants and at the south end is the Honolulu Zoo.  The International Market Place, located at about the halfway point of this street, consists of gifts, clothing and jewelery from all over the world and the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center is modern and offer over one-hundred stores. Souvenir shops, boutiques, restaurants and jewelers are plentiful so you won’t be lacking somewhere to spend spend spend.

Hawaii offers amazing shopping and photo opportunities so don’t forget to pack an extra photo card for your camera.  If you use your phone for picture taking and your phone has the panoramic feature, your friends back home will be jealous of your adventure.  If you don’t, you can shop online for cheap mobile phones before your next trip so your photos will be of the best possible quality to share with friends.

You are sure to fall in love with the Hawaiian shirts that are everywhere so you will want to take a few home for yourself.  The famous Hilo Hattie store in Waikiki is where muu muus, Kona coffee and Aloha gear abound and it’s a must-visit store for anyone vacationing on this third largest of the Hawaiian islands.

Making plans for your next vacation is not something that is done is just a few minutes.  Sure, you could find the perfect flight on your first search try but there are many other aspects that need your attention too.  Travel insurance is available for anyone who wants to be sure to be covered in case their flight is delayed or canceled and this type of insurance can also cover lost or damaged luggage, emergency evacuation costs and medical coverage while far from home.

If you will be moving from place to place, you might want to consider staying at a hostel instead of a hotel if you want to save some money and a train or bus pass can also save you money if you plan on using that form of transportation often.  There are all kinds of ways to insure your trip will be just as you planned but it takes time and effort on your part to do your homework so there are no surprises.

Amsterdam is one of the hottest tourist destinations in the world and receives millions of tourists from around the world, especially other European countries. The city has something for everyone as it has the old historic charm as well as modern cosmopolitan look. It is the city of canals as well as the only city in the world to have coffeeshops popular for allowing smoking pot on the premises. The city is also considered very romantic enticing honeymooners from different parts of the world. There are parks and zoo for the kids and the museums such as Van Gough museum for those interested in art can culture of this city. However, not many know that Amsterdam is also a city famous for its restaurants and eating joints. This is because the city has perfected cuisines from all over the world and no matter what your nationality; you can expect restaurants that serve food as per your taste buds.

  • If you are Japanese or love to eat Sushi, apartment in Vienna, Tomo Sushi is a great restaurant with a simple décor but tasty sushi. The service is excellent and the menu has lots of varieties.
  • Dalder Eaten and Drinken (don’t go by the name) is a very good restaurant situated in Jordaan district of Amsterdam that is a real gem for the tourists.
